Keep the exact listing
A saved picture shows the appearance of a part, but often leaves out the specification. Send the product link and identify the option you selected. If the listing offers several versions, a screenshot of your chosen version helps avoid confusion.
Keep the part number, dimensions and any fitting instructions with it. For a second-hand item, include the seller’s description and photos of the actual part, rather than only a manufacturer’s picture.
Compare it with your car as it is now
Give us the model, year and trim, then show the area where the part will fit. Body-kit fitment can depend on the bumper design. Interior parts need to suit the existing controls and equipment.
Mention changes already made to the car. A replacement screen, different steering wheel or earlier styling part is useful context even when it is not the item you are asking us to fit.
Check what comes with it
Look for a clear contents list. Does the seller include the parts shown in every photo, or are some optional? Send any information about the supplied cables, brackets, fixings or other accessories with your enquiry.
If the listing is unclear, ask the seller to identify what is included. We can then review the item and discuss any additional requirements. Do not assume that the product price covers everything needed for installation.
Tell us what needs to stay working
For a steering wheel, include the buttons, paddles and any heating or driver-assistance functions. For a screen, mention the existing audio system, cameras and controls. These details belong in the enquiry even if the replacement looks similar.
For exterior parts, say whether they are already finished or need preparation. The condition of a used part also matters. Clear photos help us discuss the work before agreeing a booking.
Separate the part from the fitting request
Let us know whether you want DH Styling to source the part, have already bought it or are still comparing products. We can discuss supply and fitting together, or review a part you already own.
An online order and a workshop booking are separate arrangements. If you order through the DH Styling shop and want installation, contact the workshop with the product or order details. Agree the work, fitting price and any additional requirements before arranging the visit.
