Which part of the cabin do you want to change?
Ambient lighting adds light around areas such as the dashboard, doors, footwells and centre console. A starlight installation puts fibre-optic points into the headliner above you. They change different parts of the interior, so start with where you want to see the result.
Roof-edge lighting is another option on suitable interiors. Strips around a panoramic roof and stars in a headliner are different installations. If a photo shows both, tell us which part caught your eye.
Choose the coverage before the colour
For ambient lighting, decide whether you want a few areas lit or a more complete cabin installation. Look at the rear doors and footwells as well as the dashboard when comparing examples.
For starlights, look at the space between the points of light. More fibres across the same roof create a denser pattern. The roof size and layout matter alongside the fibre count.
Think about the controls
Would you prefer to change the lighting through an app, separate controls or the car’s existing screen? Available controls depend on the vehicle and the kit. Screen integration should be checked before you choose a package.
Mention any existing ambient lighting, including areas that are already controlled through the screen. If matching the old and new lights matters to you, include that in the enquiry.
Use examples to explain what you like
Pick one or two photos and say what you like about them: the lines across the dashboard, lighting in the rear, the colour or the spread of stars. That is more helpful than asking for everything in a photo without checking the details.
Your car may have different trim or a different roof layout. We use the reference to discuss the effect you want, then check what is suitable for your interior.
